electric space heaters cause no danger of producing carbon monoxide poisoning. Unlike those who burn fuels and produce combustion that further creates carbon monoxide. Refrain from leaving running cars and truck in enclosed areas.

No, electric heaters in themselves can not cause Carbon Monoxide, as you have to be burning fossil fuel or wood, that said under fault conditions, say if the heater was burning oil based plastic casing because of a overheating issue, or was close to a door frame causing it to smoulder then I guess it would do.
