I've a hydraulic hose break and spray high pressure and temperature fluid on the manifold of a scraper.

A battery shorted out and caught accumulated grease and pine needles on fire. Within minutes the doze was totaled.

A trackhoe contacted a high voltage line. The electricity ignited the grass which in turn burned up the machine. Cranes have also been lost this way.
