making a COD is a useful measure to determine teh concentration of organic polluted water after the treatment. it is expressed in milligrams per litre, which indicates the mass of oxygen. there is a calculation method between these variables.

Thanks for A2A. Usually in water treatment, we measure the BOD, COD, PH, turbidity, TSS, TDS, etc. If you want to know specific organic compound, there are many procedures for each, depends on the quantity and condition of sample. If you can tell me the name of the organic compound I might be able to help you further. Hope it helps.
