How much garlic salt equals 1 clove of garlic?

The formula is: one teaspoon of Garlic POWDER is equal to one clove of garlic in most recipes. A better thing to use (in my opinion) is the minced garlic that you buy in jars, packed in liquid. The taste will be virtually identical to a fresh clove of garlic, and the above ratio will be the same.

And yes, stay away from Garlic salt. If you want the salt part, use Garlic Powder then add salt according to taste. Most likely, you won’t use as much salt as the commercially mixed Garlic salt.
