I don’t think there is any such thing Michael. Most items made these days either requires electricity powered by coal burning power plants, or it uses heat produced by either coal or gas. Paper plates requires the cutting down of trees. Plastics are made from oil.

In the 18th century one carried one’s own hand forged knife for eating, & food was served on wood trenchers (plates). The human race in the cities, for the most part, has lost all contact with what is most important to our survival.
