Thanks for A2A. I have been a China sourcing agent that help international customers sourcing electronic product in Shenzhen China over the course of past few years. Shenzhen is a town full of private label manufacturers in electronic industry who provide OEM services and electronic manufacturing services, which makes it the hub for sourcing electronics. For example, all your iphones are made in a company called Foxconn in Shenzhen.

Shenzhen electronic market, also known as Huaqiangbei electronic market, is by far the largest China electronic market. From here you can buy all electronic devices like resistor, capacitor, diode and transistor—just to name a few. There are also all kinds of general electronic merchandises or gadgets available: smart home devices, drones, cameras, smart wearables, smart phones, and etc.

SEG building is the one you don’t want to miss during your visit. There is a maker’s room which can turn all your ideas into reality. This is a place where lots of entrepreneurs come to implement their ideas and build prototype in China. Most of the China pcb manufacturerhas a booth in this building so it’s not hard to find a factory for pcb manufacturing and pcb assembly.

However most of these vendors don’t speak fluent English and in order to make the most of your trip by getting a good price, it’s highly advised you hire a Chinese translator. If you are having some extra time, you can also take a train to a city closed by called Guangzhou. Guangzhou wholesale market is also a good option to shop electronics.

I hope this information is helpful to you.
