I am generally a pure green or puer tea drinker but latest I received a little package of pink rose buds as a present from China. It sat for a long time in my tea drawer because I really didn’t know what to do with it. But some weeks ago I started mixing the buds with a common Miyazaki sencha, and the result was good. It sweetens the taste of tea, makes it a bit milky and more dense. I recommend it. You can find rose buds in any Chinese shop, I presume.
