When installing security cameras at outdoor premises, how difficult is it to get along with the WiFi range? Would you prefer a security camera with a bit lower video quality but better RF range than great video but limited range?

You’ll NEED a camera with lower quality but good RF. We deployed some cameras downtown on our mesh network on the stop light arms. Worked great, for about a month, in the summer. Come fall, the students moved back into town and about 100 access points appeared all of a sudden, and the spectrum was so crowded, we had to cut the bandwidth by about a third to still be able to talk to the cameras.
