When you buy or replace your running shoes, do you prefer to buy them in person by visiting a running specialty store, sporting goods store, or do you like to buy them online and have them shipped to you?

I tend to buy my shoes online (specifically at runningwarehouse.com due to their competitive pricing, service, and shipping) as I understand and know what kind of shoes I need due to my foot type, as well as the type of workouts during training for races.

That being said, I would highly recommend going to a running specialty store to get fitted. Buying strictly by style and color doesn't do much and the majority of running injuries stem from having the wrong type of shoe. You can learn a lot from being fitted and get a better understanding of your foot, gait, and what you need from a shoe to help you run better.
