Why is European food generally less spicy than Asian food when it was Europeans who brought chili peppers to Asia?

who told you that ? basically the whole history of the world changed because of these spices. Spices are predominantly found in south-east asia. and the Europeans fought hard among themselves and with these countries since the 14th century to take control of these spices. They gained control, bought the spices for cheap from the local farmers exported it to huge profit and then branded it and actually sold the same back to the south Asian countries. Asian food has always been traditionally spicy. especially Indian.
