Vinegar is acidic. So, it should not be stored in the containers that are made from copper, brass iron or tin. this might lead to corrosion and simultaneously, leaching will set in this will result in reactions between the metals

Sanitation, oxidation, presentation, and cost. Glass is an excellent storage method when one needs to be able to clean and sanitize a vessel; it doesn't allow for unwanted flavors to develop due to too much oxygen; it looks great; and finally it is inexpensive.
